War with Iran: Like it or Not Here We Come…

So, it would seem that with stories such as this, that America is beginning to lay the ground work for a war with Iran. When stories lead with:

The Bush administration is investigating the wide web of business
connections undertaken by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)…

We Americans ought to be alarmed especially considering both President Bush and Putin have spoken quite frankly about Iran THIS week.

If you want my opinon, and I base this mostly off of the last paragraph of the story, America wants to better understand the flow of money in the IRGC so that we can more actively discourage foreign compaines, because we know there are going to be DAMN FEW American companies if any, from doing business with the IRGC. C’mon people, don’t kid yourself and really think about this.

A key goal of exploring the guard’s activities is to be able to warn
European and other countries about inadvertent business dealings with
the guard, part of the administration’s strategy of squeezing the
Iranian regime’s revenue streams and access to financing.

Ask yourself this question: Does it make sense for us to “warn” European companies, who are competeing with us, of “inadvertant” business with the IRGC? And do you really think they are going to listen? Remember, business, especially at the international level, is all about the bottom line…
